YOU NEVER SEEN A BARN LIKE THIS!

The wrought iron door of the reception hall as well as the rail on the curved staircase was imported from Italy for the home of one of the meat barons on Chicago's Lake Shore Drive. An outstanding example of old spanish wood carving is the crest over the fireplace. It adorned a similar position in the grand dining hall of a villa on the Costa Del Sol. The Great Hall is the orginal barn construction. Unchanged since the days it housed tons of hay. The interior was sandblasted to remove dust and cobwebs from its 150 year existence. The Ancient barn builders had a food since of proportion and structure imparts a fine gothic feel. Designed and fabricated in France, the stained glass was shipped to this country during the art nouveau period. The 12 foot rose window is supported form the 40 foot ceiling in the track of the haymow. The paintings are done by an American artist and the high tapestry is 18th century from Seville. The balcony was the orginal granary for the Barn and for those who remeber Chicago's Trianon Ballroom. The Balusters were salvaged from its ballroom. Only after three years of negotiations with Spanish Government to determine whether they were a national treasure were the gilded baroque candelabras brought to this country.

The Crown supports a soaring 16 foot stainded glass fixture suspended from the cuploa is dwarfed by the room's timbered loftness. Personalized with an ambience that heightens the pleasure of your dinner party.
